Tyne North Training Operations during Coronavirus

Updated 12th October

General Information: Tyne North Training have put in place measures to return to full operational delivery. Our office is now manned during normal working hours and our management, administration and training officer team have returned. Training Officers are contactable via the office and by mobile and email.

Employers: We have resumed our employer visits and are providing in-person support for apprentices. We will attend all work places where your risk assessments allow visitors on-site. If you have any additional procedures that you would like us to follow then please make your Training Officer aware.

We are continuing to support employers who wish to recruit apprentices. We have high quality candidates who have been pre-matched to your company requirements in anticipation of a live vacancy. If you would like to view these individuals who have been pre-matched to your business then please contact Andrew Thorpe on andrew.thorpe@tynenorthtraining.co.uk

Apprentices: Tyne North Training are continuing to support our apprentices. We have re-started employer visits, to conduct reviews and to set you work to complete for assessments. Your employer should be continuing to give you time to complete your apprenticeship work. Please keep TNT updated with any changes to your apprenticeship or employment and make sure that you follow your employer’s safety measures.

Applying for an apprenticeship this year: Tyne North Training is continuing to recruit for Business Administration apprentices. Our Engineering recruitment is currently closed, but will re-open in the new year. To apply for a Business Administration apprenticeship just click on the Apply button at the top of this page.  If your application is successful we will conduct our initial interview remotely using Zoom. If you are successful at our interview and your details match an employer’s vacancy needs we will submit your details to the employer. Rest assured that if you are submitted to an employer, Tyne North Training will have checked that the employer is following COVID secure guidelines.
