Two German engineering apprentices; Robin Gansohr and Patrick Arnold spent an exchange week at Chirton Engineering. During the visit Tyne North Training's Davey Collins, Chirton's apprenticeship training officer invited the two apprentices to various engineering facilities across the region; which included the new Ignite Centre for Engineering & Innovation where the Chirton apprentices go to gain their practical basic skills training.
