What we offer
IAG is offered in relation to all apprenticeship frameworks and NVQ's. The service provided to companies includes helping with recruitment, training and development of mainly young people as well as the development of existing adult staff.
Information
The information service is delivered primarily by TNT staff, incorporating our web-site and various printed materials. TNT's web-site is updated on a regular basis to ensure the information stated is as up to-date and accurate as possible.
Users are encouraged to ask for assistance if you cannot find the required information.
We aim to provide a comprehensive information service to learners and companies relating to all aspects of the engineering apprenticeship frameworks and NVQ's and also to provide specialist training officers when required.
Advice and Guidance
Advice and guidance is initially delivered formally at the commencing of a qualification, at the mid-point and at the exit point of the qualification, however individual advice and guidance is delivered on an ongoing basis by TNT Training Officers.
- TNT attends various career events and Training Officers are available to answer any questions in relation
to the services we provide.
- Prospective learners will undergo an aptitude assessment covering mechanical and maths disciplines. This session will also outline the advanced apprenticeship framework.
- Current learners will undergo a comprehensive induction explaining the advanced apprenticeship frameworks, equality and diversity, health and safety. The induction will also include initial and diagnostic assessment. Tyne North's information, advice and guidance service will be fully explained at the induction.
- Companies will receive a comprehensive guide called ‘Information for Companies' pack which will explain the services that Tyne North Training can provide.
